“Reading Between the Wines” Literacy Fundraiser

Denise is honored to be the featured author at Literacy Connections of Wayne County’s signature annual fundraising reception in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Denise will discuss her new nonfiction history title, Obstinate Daughters: The Rebels, Writers, and Renegade Women Who Ignited the American Revolution, and share her passion for storytelling, books, and the need for literacy advocacy in every community. Proceeds support Literacy Connections in its mission to help adult learners in Wayne County learn literacy skills that will help them succeed in life.
